The Peace Mala was born in a classroom in Coedcae School, Llanelli, Wales UK. Pam Evans, Head of Religious Studies and her pupils were discussing the terrible events of September the 11th.
During the discussion in the classroom, they realised something needed to be done to combat prejudice and religious intolerance. The rise in Islamaphobia in the world was to be expected, as a response to the attack. What was more shocking was the rise in fundamentalism, racism and prejudice, that we are faced with today.
Working together to make a better Wales!
Our mission is to do the best for Wales. We are a 'people over profit' company and are committed to reinvesting the majority (min. 51%) of our net profits back into growing our community and support our 'community partners' to help them thrive.
We have 6 core values at the heart of everything that we do which help promote social and environmental responsibilities, job creation and education.
We are also creating 'The Real Welsh Dragon's Den'. Which will provide support to individuals who live in Wales (of any age) with a business idea that would have a positive impact in their local community and throughout Wales.
